Wireless Site Surveys

Fast, Robust Wireless Networks Don’t Happen By Chance.

They All Start With Wireless Site Surveys.

Let’s face it… time is money.

And like most businesspeople you already know that persistent WiFi network issues such as dead spots, interference and/or outages, severely impact your company’s efficiency and productivity

But you may be less certain about what to do… If so, you’re not alone, and we can help you.

For the last two decades TPI West has helped thousands of southern California businesses – retailers, warehouse, distribution centers, logistic companies, manufacturers, and the like – solve their costly WiFi issues and avoid them in the future.

Although their WiFi networks are as unique as their businesses, they all have one thing in common: they begin with affordable, comprehensive and headache-free wireless site surveys.

So, whether you’re looking to optimize your current network or improve your existing one, our team of experts can help you.

Moreover, we offer a full range of best-in-class wireless network hardware and services (designinstallation & wiring) that meet our clients’ budgets, timelines, and needs and ensures that their networks work the first time and every time.

The TPI West Difference

Here are some of the many reasons why it makes sense to choose TPI West for your wireless site survey & other networking needs:

  • You talk; we listen. When it comes to wireless networks, one-size-fits-all solutions rarely work well. That’s why one of our top network specialists will contact you within 4 hours to learn more about your goals, current/past issues, budget, and more before we get started. This is the very best way to ensure that we develop a cost-effective plan that addresses your specific situation.
  • Affordable, no-surprise survey fee. Our one-time survey fee averages less than $2500 is among the most reasonable in the industry. Even better, you’ll receive a $500 credit towards the design & installation of your Wifi network.
  • Flexibility: Regardless of whether you’re using Cisco, Extreme, Aruba, Ruckus or others, we can create a plan that optimizes your network’s capabilities.
  • One-stop convenience. It’s up to you. In addition to your site survey, we can also handle all aspects of your project including hardware and design, installation and wiring for your wireless network, mobile computers, barcode and RFID terminals and printers.
  • Fast turnaround. Our complete site survey usually takes less than two weeks to have a comprehensive plan to address all of your network needs.
  • Simple 3-step site survey process. We value your time as much as we do our own. That’s why we won’t make you jump through hoops to schedule your site survey or obtain your results.

You’re Just 3 Easy Steps Away From Your Site Survey

Step 1: Call 949.888.2220 and speak to one of our network specialists. They will ask you questions about your new network plan or current network situation, any/all issues you’re experiencing, your location(s) and work environment(s), timelines and the like. They will also answer your questions, provide you with a quote, and when you’re ready, schedule your survey.

Step 2: Within one week, a TPI West engineer will visit your location. He or she will conduct thorough research using specialized equipment that identifies interference, transmission rates for voice and data, and throughput utilization and wireless channel assignments.

Step 3: Once completed, our engineers will review and analyze the gathered data and provide you with a complete report on our findings. As appropriate, you’ll be provided with detailed recommendations for fixing your current network vulnerabilities; enhancing your existing network to comply with the latest WiFi speed and security standards; and/or implementing a new, state-of-the-art wireless network system.

Then, after your survey is completed it’s all up to you…

Option 1: Use the information in your survey to reduce problems with your network immediately or sometime in the future.

Option 2: Deploy our resources to complete your project. This includes design, installation, optimization and, wiring.

What Types of Information Will My Site Survey Contain?

The goal of our site surveys is to help you avoid – and/or fix – many of the most common and costly WiFi network issues. For example, our professionals will:

  • Pinpoint network dead spots. Your survey will include detailed information about the quantity and location of your network’s access points along with a comprehensive analysis of your network’s footprint. These are the first steps for eliminating lost connections and slow throughput after deployment.
  • Identify – and offer solutions for reducing – costly interference (EMI). Using up-to-the-minute technology, our engineers will uncover any interference and/or noise level issues you may be experiencing. We’ll also create coverage maps that will identify the best access point locations, antenna power, and channel configurations so you’ll get the maximum wireless exposure.
  • Analyze and develop proper channel configurations to reduce downtime. The reported information enables optimization of ‘access point’ channels, choices of antenna’s, AP transmit power levels and locations creating a more effective wireless network.
  • Develop a well-thought-out wireless network plan that guarantees that your network works optimally the first time and every time.
